The Evolution Myth

The evolution theory suggests that man evolved from apes and ultimately from a single-cell, called amobea! 'Molecules to man',

The theory suggests that humans and all animals are the result of unguided processes which have gradually evolved over time. If this is true then it would mean that life has no real purpose as we are simply the products of accidental chance, just animals evolved to a higher order.

However, the very conditions of the universe indicate that we do have a purpose as there are hundreds of parameters required for life to exist. This fine tuning of the universe is strong evidence that we have an intelligent designer. For example, there is a strong magnetic field to protect us from harmful radiation, the moon is very important to create tides, we have all the atmospheric gases vital for life and gravity is perfect for us. The sun is also in the perfect position for life. The trees even give us oxygen while we give them the carbon dioxide to use in photosynthesis.

Sir Isaac Newton, one of the greatest scientists of all time stated;

"Atheism is so senseless. When I look at the solar system, I see the earth at the right distance from the sun to receive the proper amounts of heat and light. This did not happen by chance."

There is no observable evidence that humans evolved from apes, it is unseen and unproven. It is said to take 'millions of years', so requires faith to believe in.

Darwin admitted that the main problem with his theory was the lack of transitional fossils;

"Why, if species have descended from other species by insensibly fine gradations, do we not everywhere see innumerable transitional forms.”

He was concerned that this lack disproved the theory. He hoped that in the years to come there would be more fossil finds that would prove the theory. However, it has been around 150 years since he wrote the book, many more fossils have been found but the innumerable transitional forms have still not been found.

The fossil record always shows animals which are complete and finished. When God finished His creation, He rested from His work. (Rest in this instance means 'absence from work', it does not mean God was tired because God is all powerful and does not get tired.) Everything was finished - the seeds, plants, animals, man, the sun, moon, stars, sea and mountains. Nothing that is living needed to 'evolve' to become better and improve, instead after the fall, things have been degrading. Species have been going extinct. This is opposite to what you would expect if evolution was true.

There are no transitional forms such as the 'half-ape, half-man' creatures depicted on the middle of the typical 'evolution of man' diagram. Many hoaxes however have been found. These hoaxes show that there is a desperation for evolutionists to try and find these creatures.

Natural Selection is not Evolution!

Many people will argue that 'Darwins Finches' or bacteria becoming immune to viruses are examples of evolution. However, these are examples of changes within a species, not one kind of animal evolving into a completely different kind like the evolution theory suggests.

Birds adapting different beaks for different feeding methods is a change within a species. It is a great way to reduce competition – God wants life to carry on. This type of evolution is called microevolution. Everyone agrees with this type because it is observable and can be tested. It is true that species can adapt, however it is only within a certain limit.

Macroevolution however, suggests that fish can turn into amphibians, amphibians into reptiles and dinosaurs into birds! This is something which has never been observed and therefore is not even scientific.

Viruses stay viruses, bacteria stay bacteria, dogs stay dogs and cats stay cats.

God has created them 'according to their kinds', what we see today is in favour of this, as species always only reproduce after their own kind. Every breeder of animals or plants is aware of the strict limits to variation which are not able to be crossed.

What about 'vestigial' organs?

Many people will object to intelligent design because of 'vestigial' organs, which are believed to be left overs from evolution, as they are thought to no longer have a function.

However, further study shows that these organs actually do have functions:

Appendix - the appendix is rich in blood cells and has been shown to have an important function, acting as a storehouse for good bacteria, “rebooting” the digestive system after diarrheal illnesses.

Q. Why can people live without an appendix?

A. For the same reason they can live without a kidney, gall bladder or even an arm! All have important functions but we can still survive without them, this does not make the function they were designed for any less important.

Q. Why do appendixes burst, isn't that a bad design?

A. Disease, degeneration, infection and death are all part of the curse on a once perfect world, which God originally saw was 'very good'. Appendicitis (inflamation of the appendix) is interestingly only found to be common in countries where a highly refined modern diet is eaten. In countries where people's diet is made up of a large amount of fruit, vegetables and unrefined cereals, appendicitis is very rare. The diet God designed us for is therefore closer to this. Those who eat plenty of fruit, vegetables and avoid processed/man made foods are generally a lot healthier.

Coccyx - the coccyx (also known as the tail bone in humans) serves as an attachment site for tendons, ligaments, and muscles. It functions as an insertion point of some of the muscles of the pelvic floor. When someone is in a sitting person, the coccyx functions to support and stablise a person.

Wisdom Teeth - The evolution theory suggests that because our ancestors were apes with large jaws, humans have evolved smaller jaws and therefore there is often no room left for wisdom teeth. However, this is the result of a change in diet. There is less of a need for wisdom teeth due to the refined and processed foods which make up a large part of our diets today. Wisdom teeth aid in chewing our food as do all of our other teeth.

Jaws becoming smaller does not necessarily conclude that we came from apes, only that our human ancestors had larger jaws for the different diet they had, consisting of unprocessed and raw foods, in which wisdom teeth would be required for grinding and crushing.

'Junk' DNA - When scientists began reading our DNA, they discovered that some sequences, which looked like genes, did not code for protein and often occured in repetitive sequences which seemed to have no function. The function of some of these sequences may not be known yet but this does not mean they have no function. In fact, a study showed that some of this DNA enables genes to be ‘read’ in the opposite direction than normal, producing an entirely different protein.

The idea of much of our DNA being 'junk' is also pushed by evolutionists because of the dillema it would cause in terms of the timeframe allowed by the evolutionary worldview. The theory of evolution claims that humans and chimps diverged from a common ancestor about five million years ago. If most of our DNA is not 'junk', it would be a problem for evolutionists to account for the many millions of differences between human and chimp DNA which we see today.

One of the founders of Microsoft, Bill Gates stated,

"DNA is like a computer program but far, far more advanced than any software ever created".

Goosebumps - We all have experienced goosebumps when we are cold or even when we listen to very good music. Goosebumps heighten emotions. The tiny muscles aid in bringing protective oils to the skin. There are also cells inside each hair follicle which help to heal wounds and cuts would not heal properly if those cells were not there.

Male Nipples - Nipples in males are not a vestige of evolution but instead a vestige of embryology. The mammary duct system develops in both genders in the sixth week. Male nipples are fully vascularised and have a nerve supply. Why would this be the case if they are a by-product of random evolutionary processes? It is much more of a problem therefore, for the evolutionist to explain the existence of male nipples.

Evolution is the 'greatest hoax ever'
