For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life - John 3:16
"I and my Father are One" - John 10:30
Even though Jesus was God He humbled Himself
to the lowest,
"Though He was God, he did not think of equality with God a thing to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross" - Philippians 2:6
"If you had really known me, you would know who my Father is. From now on, you do know him and have seen him!" - John 14:7
In the beginning was the Word (Jesus), and the Word was with God and the Word was God. - John 1:1...And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us - John 1:14
The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit
= One God
'For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are One.' - 1 John 5:7
"Very truly I tell you," Jesus answered, "before Abraham was born, I AM!" - John 8:58
"I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me" - Isaiah 45:5
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Preached among the Gentiles, Believed on in the world, Received up in glory - 1 Timothy 3:16
looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Saviour Jesus Christ - Titus 2:13
Many people say that Jesus was a good man, so why would he be lying in his claim to be God? Jesus was completely sinless. Even Pontius Pilate said "I find in him no fault at all" - John 18:38
Jesus told her, "I am the Messiah" - John 4:26
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace - Isaiah 9:6
"Behold! The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call Him Immanuel" (which means, "God with us") - Matthew 1:23
Jesus was fully man and fully God.
Jesus proved that He was the Messiah through amazing miracles,
He healed the sick,
cured the blind,
casted our demons,
cured lepers and paralytics,
rose people from the dead,
fed the five thousand,
walked on water,
taught us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us.
He spoke with great authority and always knew the right thing to say, causing many people to be left amazed and speechless at what He had said.
Jesus said, "You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it." - John 14:14 This is another amazing statement, Jesus Himself said that He will do whatever we ask of Him. This proves His divinity as He is claiming to be all knowing in order to hear our prayers, an attribute only God can have.
The truth of this word is confirmed as people across the world today are being healed in the name of Jesus. Follow this link to see some videos of people being healed - Healing Miracles
